«Neumatt 2.0» – ERNE is building quality housing for the future

The Neumatt 2.0 development is currently under construction on a site of around 14,500 square metres on Münchwilerstrasse in Stein/AG. It comprises four residential buildings built to the Minergie-P standard, offering a total of 76 flats, four communal areas, 124 underground car parking spaces, 20 motorbike parking spaces and 176 bicycle parking spaces. Green spaces and communal areas connect the four buildings.

On behalf of Areal B AG and Rebstock AG, our team is realising the new development based on the design by Birri Architekten AG.

ERNE is carrying out all structural and civil engineering works for this project. The ground-breaking ceremony took place in December 2023. Handover to the client is scheduled for December 2024.

The Neumatt 2.0 project is the second phase of development in the Neumatt special zone, through which Stein is preparing for the anticipated developments in the Sisslerfeld area. It is expected that over 10,000 new jobs will be created there in the coming years.
