MATTIA PLATTNER SHINES WITH 4TH PLACE AT EUROSKILLS 2025 AND RECEIVES MEDALLION FOR EXCELLENCE

A great moment for ERNE and another milestone in Mattia Plattner's young career. The ERNE bricklayer and junior foreman represented Switzerland at the 2025 European Professional Championships in Herning (Denmark) and only just missed out on the podium. Mattia's great commitment, expertise and perseverance earned him a fantastic fourth place.
Mattia was also awarded a Medallion for Excellence. This medal recognizes participants who achieve a score well above the international average and is a visible sign of the highest professional quality.
For three days, the Swiss vice-champion competed with the best young bricklayers in Europe. In top form and with impressive precision, he erected two complex masonry structures under strict competition conditions. These were judged by a panel of experts.
Mattia began his career at ERNE as an apprentice bricklayer and already impressed with his exceptional performance during his training. His highlight to date was second place at SwissSkills, which secured him qualification for EuroSkills.
The fact that Mattia was able to represent Switzerland on the international stage fills us with enormous pride and gratitude. Mattia's success is an example of what is possible with commitment, talent and passion. He is a role model for all young professionals and an ambassador for the building trade.
