Mattia Plattner officially receives bronze medal at EuroSkills 2025

We are delighted to announce that Mattia Plattner has now been awarded the bronze medal in the "Bricklaying" category at EuroSkills Herning 2025 following an official correction to the evaluation. WorldSkills Europe officially announced this in a media release on November 20, 2025.
After the competition, the WorldSkills Europe team reviewed the evaluation. It was discovered that deductions had inadvertently been calculated as percentages instead of fixed values and that different units of measurement had also distorted the results.
With the corrected score, Mattia is now officially in 3rd place. The bronze medal was presented to him by representatives of SwissSkills and WorldSkills on November 20, 2025 as part of a festive ceremony at the autumn meeting of the baumeister verbands aargau.
We have been convinced of Mattia's outstanding skills since he started his apprenticeship. Accompanying his impressive development and celebrating successes with him fills us with pride. We are delighted to have him in our team.
We would like to congratulate Mattia on this great result. To be among the top three bricklayers in Europe is a fantastic achievement. It shows the passion, precision and high level of commitment that Mattia puts into his work. For us, he is and remains our bricklaying champion.
