2024 Gansingen Student Camp

The students worked together across disciplines in four groups. Commercial apprenticeship students pitched in on the construction site, while aspiring masons, road builders, and carpenters teamed up with their colleagues to prepare hearty meals and create creative social media content. There was hammering, screwing, filing, sawing, cooking, and laughing—despite the weather.
The stage is set for our apprentices
… was the motto last week when 18 apprentices from the ERNE Group lent a helping hand for this year’s open-air spectacle organized by the Gansingen Theater Association and the Spielleute Hottwil. Under the expert guidance of Dieter Kern and their on-the-job trainers, they built the stage and a bridge at the 2024 Apprentice Camp for “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” which will be performed in August.
Working in four groups, the apprentices collaborated across disciplines. Business administration apprentices pitched in on the construction site, while aspiring masons, road builders, and carpenters teamed up with their colleagues to provide hearty meals and create engaging social media content. There was hammering, screwing, filing, sawing, cooking, and laughter—despite the weather.
Successful Takeover: During the camp, the apprentices from the content team took over the Instagram and TikTok channels for erne_bau, erneagholzbau, and husneragholzbau, delighting followers with entertaining content that they produced on their own with great ingenuity.
To balance out the physical work, there was a varied, group-based recreational program that brought the group closer together as a team. The scooter trip to the Cheisacherturm will remain a fond memory for everyone.
